The Pushing Against Racism Fund was created by the Pushing Against Racism Working Group, as a direct action to promote an anti-racist culture in the skateboarding community worldwide. Goodpush selected 12 initiatives from 12 different countries to receive a total of $15,000 in grants. One of these grantees is Maputo Skate.
Founded in 2006, Maputo Skate aims to provide young people with “tools” that help them avoid contact with alcohol and drugs, improve school performance, family relationships, train leaders for the future and improve social integration.
