The 2024 Annual Report is here!
July 8, 2025
2024 was a year of big moves, bold growth, and laying the groundwork for a huge future.
We’re stoked to release our 2024 Annual Report, a snapshot of a year where we expanded our reach, deepened our impact, and grew the global movement of social skateboarding. From grassroots skate communities to global advocacy, together with our Partners we're pushing this movement forward—and here are the numbers to prove it.

2024 in a Nutshell:
- 10,497 individuals reached (56% female and non-binary)
- 7,750 program participants (50% girls)
- 294,941 program attendances (54% female)
- 175 practitioners trained
- 2,572 youth reached through Goodpush seed grants
49 Locations in 30 Countries
This year, we proudly welcomed new Skateistan Partners in Bangladesh, Brazil, Greece, Iran, and South Sudan. These incredible grassroots organizations are part of a global wave—64% of our Partners are women-led, and together, they’ve reached thousands of young people who need safe spaces to skate, learn, and grow.

Goodpush: The Home of Social Skate
Our sector support through the Goodpush Alliance went from strength to strength. In 2024, we rolled out resources, trainings, and funding to amplify community-led efforts around the world—especially in areas of gender equity, anti-racism, migration, and mental health. We’re committed to keeping skateboarding a tool for empowerment and social justice.
What’s Next?
We’re already looking ahead to a major milestone: 20 years of Skateistan in 2028. As we dream big for that moment—and look to the Olympic Games in LA as a platform for celebration—we’re laser-focused on one goal: 100 social skateboarding locations by 2032.

Thank You
To our donors, supporters, collaborators, pro bono partners, and the educators and staff who make the magic happen on the ground: thank you. Your trust gives us the freedom to innovate, to stay independent, and to continue transforming the lives of young people around the world.
Let’s keep pushing—together.
Love,
Skateistan
